Brian Salem Realtor, Team Leader

Brian grew up in the Dayton, OH area and moved to Cleveland after graduating from Bowling Green State University in 2001. From his first visit to Cleveland he fell in love with the area and decided to settle in Lakewood. Brian feels there are so many great things Northeast Ohio has to offer, from Lake Erie and the many activities on and around its shores, to the downtown area with the theater, Gateway and warehouse districts, to the exciting sports teams. People in Cleveland are friendly and welcoming, and love to show off their city to newcomers. He is excited to be a part of it.

Brian's career is focused on helping individuals and families in the Cleveland area reach their dreams of owning a home. Since earning his license, he has helped over 250 clients buy or sell their home. He also volunteers with different community groups and organizations, such as the Lakewood Chamber of Commerce and Junior Achievement, to help improve the quality of life and develop programs for residents in the community. In his spare time Brian likes to read and is active in many different sports leagues.

Michell, Team Coordinator

Michell was born and raised in Lakewood, graduating from Lakewood High School. She earned her Bachelor's degree in Visual Communications from Ohio University in 1998 and returned to Lakewood to be near family and friends.

Since joining The Salem Team, she has been responsible for marketing and promotion for the team, as well as scheduling showings, assisting with transactions and customer service. When she's not in the office, Michell can usually be found spending time with friends and family or out and about listening to her favorite live music.

Mathew Chase, Lead Buyer Agent

Born in the suburbs of Cleveland, Matt returned to the area, where he resides with his wife and daughter, after attending Bowling Green State University. He enjoys the variety of seasons that Ohio has to offer, particularly boating season, when you will find him spending his few free moments with his family on their sail boat.

As lead buyer agent for the Salem Team, Matt makes it his purpose to provide you with only the best experience when searching for a new home. He is dedicated to providing your family with the best assistance and representation, and takes pride in his knowledge of the market and access to the best tools in the industry. As a homeowner himself, he appreciates the variety of housing styles that the Cleveland market has to offer and is honored to help clients realize their dream of home ownership.

Julie Chase, Assistant

Julie hails from Avon Lake and also graduated from Bowling Green State University. She lives with her husband and daughter in Elyria.

Julie works with Matt to help buyers find and purchase their dream home. She also provides customer support and marketing assistance for the Salem Team.
